A Symbol of Eternal Love: My Ashoka Diamond Ring

I have always believed in eternal love, and this is the story of how an Eternity Ashoka diamond ring made me believe in it more than ever. My boyfriend Kyle and I had been going out for quite some time, nearly two years, and he knew I wanted to get married. I didn’t want to push him into it though—after all, we had our differences and even though I was sure he was the one, I didn’t think he felt the same way. His photography job kept him busy, and after a while, I was starting to have my doubts that eternal love was in the stars for us.

When he took me with him on one of his jobs to a beach in California, I didn’t think much of it. I enjoyed the trip, but then when he was done taking the photos, we took a walk on the beach at sunset. At one point, he turned to me and said, “I want our love to last forever—to be eternal, like the waves in the ocean.” Then he went down on one knee, presented me with an Eternity Ashkoa diamond ring, and asked me to marry him. The ring caught the colors of the sunset and reflected them back to me in a way that I had never seen any diamond do. It was the most beautiful diamond cut I’d ever seen, and I was stunned into silence for nearly a minute before I accepted his proposal.

Kyle and I will be married next May, and I get complimented on my Ashkoa ring wherever I go. It catches the light, no matter where I am, and everyone seems to notice it. The cut and style are completely unique, like the love my fiancée and I feel for each other. I wasn’t sure if true, eternal love would ever come to me, but now, as I look at my beautiful Ashkoa diamond engagement ring, I know that the union between Kyle and I is truly blessed with an everlasting love.
